1. The first type of anti-static fabric is to mix conductive fibers into ordinary fabrics. The antistatic performance of this kind of antistatic fabric is related to the type of conductive fiber and the division of conductive metal, graphite, carbon black, etc. in the fiber. Other composite conductive fibers containing carbon black, graphite and other conductive components can be directly used for weaving filaments. A conductive filament is embedded in the warp at regular intervals (such as about 1.5 cm) to obtain good resistance. The electrostatic effect is currently the best conductive fiber used to weave anti-static clothing.
2. The second type of antistatic fabric is to add an antistatic agent inside the polyester fiber or nylon polymer fiber, such as phosphate, sulfonate and other surfactants or introduce a third monomer to obtain a durable antistatic fiber. Since most of the additive antistatic agents are surfactants that react or decompose when exposed to alkali, alkaline detergents should not be used during fabric finishing or washing to prevent affecting the antistatic effect. This fiber is suitable for dust-free clothing. , Sterile clothing, can also be used for civilian clothing.
3. The third type of anti-static fabric is to use an anti-static agent to resin finish the fibers of the fabric. After padding and baking, it is attached to the surface of the fiber fabric to make the fabric have a certain anti-static effect. At present, it is only used for ordinary clothes to eliminate common static electricity phenomena such as clothes adsorption, spark discharge, and dust absorption.
The different classifications of anti-static fabrics are suitable for different working environments, mainly based on the protection standards for static electricity, so it is not necessarily the best anti-static fabric. It is best to choose the most suitable anti-static fabric.
